I’ve used this wagon twice for heavy loads now and can confirm many of the things others have said.
PROS- definitely very sturdy. I lugged a good 70lbs of wood planks for 3.5 miles in it. It was not pleasant, but totally worked. Also, the bars at the top of either end of the wagon are great for lifting the front or back wheels up or down the sidewalk when you have to. I had 4 full bags of groceries in there the other day and the sidewalks in my neighborhood often end without any kind of ramp so I had to lift the wagon down and up, end by end. (I shudder to think how people in wheelchairs cope, it’s really appalling how inaccessible our cities are...)
CONS- yes, the wagon on its own is heavy, but I assume that contributes to its sturdiness. The handle is the worst part: it doesn’t lock at all in place once extended. I hope the manufacturers switch to one of those metal knobs inside the handle systems that are often used for tent poles and scooter handles.
Mac Sports Two-Tone Wagon
love it. only problem for me is that when folded up slightly heavy. other than that no complaints.
This thing is sturdy and robust. Great quality.
I bought the Mac Sports Two-Tone Wagon mainly to help me carry my photo gear to shoots. With all the lights, tripods, cameras and other gear it saves me from making multiple trips to the car. My wife loves it for the beach, putting all the stuff she needs into one carrier and not having to have chair straps, coolers and towels - dropping them and having to make this trip two or three times. Good tool for the family. Solid construction and easy set up/put-away.
